STYLIST

TOMMY

Artistic Director & Salon Owner

“At a very young age I developed a very quick interest for hair. I remember sitting on my sister’s bed watching her doing her hair ready for a night out with her friends, quickly I decided Hairdressing was career I could see myself doing. With that in mind and my GCSE year beginning, I took the decision to start my NVQ level 1 in Hairdressing. This allowed me to do placement in a salon one day a week and eventually go on to working a Saturday as well. After finishing school I decided to continue with my Hairdressing career and gained my NVQ levels 2 & 3 in Hairdressing. working in a local salon for a few years gaining experience as a senior stylist and building my clientele. After three years I knew my dreams were achievable with lots of hard work and determination… so I did it, I decided to take the step on my own! April 2019 I opened my very own salon. Since then I have completed many courses to make sure my skills are up to date and on trend i will continue to do so throughout my career”

SHARON

Artistic Designer

“My name is Sharon and I am super excited to have joined the Tommy Brooks Hairdressing team, I have a very strong passion for all aspects of hairdressing. After being in the hair industry for 30+ years my love for it has grown stronger and stronger, In fact couldn’t imagine doing anything else. The most satisfying thing I find about doing my job is the interaction with my clients and seeing the joy on there faces after they have had their hair done. I have recently relocated to Wales with my family which is what bought me to Tommy Brooks, over the years I have built some very useful knowledge and skills, the industry is regularly changing which is why I love to keep up to date. I look forward to meeting some more friendly faces.”

“Hello, I’m Amy. Since starting with Tommy Brooks hairdressing in 2020 my experience has been incredible, from attending over 5 colour/cutting courses a year, continuously staying up to date with the new trends, enjoying making people feel and look beautiful with their new hairstyles whilst gaining my NVQ Level 1,2 & 3 in hairdressing. In more recent years I have taken some more responsibility on whilst helping Tommy with the day to day running of the Salon, Early 2024 I was nominated as Apprentice of the year ( we are awaiting the results ). Moving forward I hope to do more education which will hopefully lead me into more competition work. As always, I look forward to seeing you for your next appointment.”

NATALLIE

Junior Designer

“My name is Natalie, I first began my training in hair 2020 after completing my NVQ level 1 & 2 in a local college I decided to try and gain some more experience in a salon. After Joining the Tommy Brooks Hairdressing team in September 2022 we quickly put in a plan to help myself gain more experience in a salon environment, Which is exactly what we have done. Every Tuesday we use real models to practice the latest trends & cutting techniques. Due to having my own allergy to colour I have naturally fallen down the route of specialising in all the treatments we offer at Tommy Brooks Hairdressing, which includes everything form straightening, smoothing treatments to scalp and hair treatments. I am keen to start my training in precision cutting to ensure my skills as up to date as possible. Hopefully I will see more and more of you as the years go on.”
